Assassins Creed Is One Of The Best Games Ever

Assassin’s creed brings back the legend of the Islamic Hashashin, of which the term “assassin” was derived. These hash smoking and merciless assassins formed a guild to further their cause that was so powerful that even the legendary leaders of Persia would not dare to fight against them.

Assassin’s creed adopts this storyline by telling an ancient tale of the Knights Templar versus the Assassins guild and bringing it to life in the present.

You start the game as a legendary assassin that must fight your way to take out a leader, by force or stealth. The game shifts between the past and the present and as you learn more about the history of your assassin ancestor, you learn more about the present state of the war as well. The players is forced into a machine that makes him relive the memories of his ancestors, thus the assassin missions are lived out all over again.

As the player, you have total control of your assassin, who can throw knives, wield swords, or use special weapons to take out his foes with ease. You can choose stealth modes or less cautious modes to kill people, but beware should you be noticed you will rouse an entire horde of the city guards and must fight until you kill them all or escape.

The best part about this game is that you can venture through entire cities and kill anyone you want in any manner of styles. You have special wrist blades that make killing as easy as nudging someone on the back, but you can also pull out your sword for a full battle should you so desire it.

In a manner that is reminiscent of Prince of Persia, the player can vault of walls, climb up buildings, and use nearly every part of the player environment to disappear or sneak into a hidden area.

There are several missions in which you must find a way to get to someone without being seen in order to sneak up and assassinate them. Once you are successful, then you will be noticed and must face the wrath of the entire town. This can make for epic battles as the music ramps up and the player must fight off people by the 10’s and 20’s.

Once you escape, you report back to your leader for another mission, which advances the main storyline. The end of the game offers a crazy plot twist that you will not suspect at all, which means that more than likely there will be an Assassins Creed 2.

Until that comes out, I have no problem playing this game over and over again. From the opening credits to the final take.
