This year’s most anticipated gadget Apple iPad is now available for people to try out. Apple iPad is a 9.7-inch Tablet with capacitive IPS technology based display panel, first of its kind. The new Apple iPad runs iPhone OS 3.2 operating system. The Apple iPad is 0.5 inches think and weighs just less than a kilo, making it a very user-friendly gadget. This tablet features 12 multi-touch designed specifically for it by Apple. There is a 1024×768 pixel resolution support for the 9.7 inch touchscreen. If you have used iPhone, you will be familiar with this feature – screen with finger-print resistant oleophobic coating.

Store
Apple other than iPhone OS 3.2 has debuted iBookstore that will include books by independent and major publishers. But the disappointing factor is that iBook store will be accessible for U.S. nationals only at the launch of iPad. There is a separate app for this to be possible. Also, the iPad has a VoiceOver screen reader. As usual, users can browse through the iTunes store to buy music, movies, tv shows and lots more.
Battery Life
Apple promises battery life of up to 10 hours for iPad and a standby time of 24 days. A rechargeable 25Whr lithium-polymer battery is packed in the iPad’s body making us believe those rumors.
Connectivity
Apple iPad is capable of playing and streaming 720p HD video. This iPad is also connectable to a Projector with small USB data cable with 30-pin connection support. Another major feature in Apple iPad is WiFi only and WiFi+3G features. In addition, iPad will also support Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR technology.

Keyboard
The iPad features full size ’soft’ or on-screen keyboard with ambient light sensor and also connects to the newly released iPad Keyboard Dock accessory with normal keyboard. Gaming fans would be welcoming the iPad feature of accelerometer useful in many ways.
Music
iPad features standard 30-pin connector which can be used to connect it to a Mac or PC for data transfer as well as charging. With Built-in mic, speakers and 3.5mm audio jack to hook in any pair of headphones , Music fans would love this gadget a lot, if they don’t mind carrying it, though it is small.
It is obvious that Apple iPad would drive new students to play games and read e-books, the way they have never done before. Apple has quietly made a mark in future computing with the launch of iPad.

Aerolatte Stainless-Steel Deluxe Edition Frother with Stand, Chrome

I bought this item in a store in Austin two years ago. I was regretting the purchase the moment I paid (I thought that $20 was too much for a milk frother, because all those cappuccino and espresso machines include a frother, but it never works as you expected, so, why this little thing was going to work better than those machines?). But then I tried it. I made a mess the first times but I loved it. Some weeks later, I went to a store to buy an old fashioned-Spanish style coffee maker. A perfect combination for my Aerolatte! I forgot about machines.
One sad day I found that the battery compartment was damaged. I thought that perhaps some water came in. I looked for another Aerolatte, which was difficult because I have not seen it in Mexico and I was not planning to visit USA soon. I found this item in Amazon, and I placed my order in October last year, when the cold and misty days make you desire a good cup of coffee or a well shaken hot chocolate… When I requested it I did not care about the problem with the batteries (I thought: “Well, I will keep it without the batteries”), so until I received it I noticed that this problem was corrected by placing the battery compartment at the top of the item (instead of on one side), and it also included a few extra technical features in order to avoid the water gets in, so I can keep it with the batteries inside all the time. The item was successfully redesigned. The stand is a plus.
Recommendations:
a) Trust the instructions inside (very well written, not only grammatically speaking, but for a non expert coffee maker, like me);
b) Believe in the recipes included: yes, you will be able to make multicolor layered coffees;
c) It works better with non “low-fat” or “light” milks or products;
d) The hotter the milk, the better froth; and,
e) Change the batteries that come with the product, those are a nice courtesy, but don’t have enough energy, and the Aerolatte works with strength. Low batteries cause that your froth goes away too soon.
I blindly recommend this product, I love it.
